The YGL National Chapter, located in Washington, DC, is the umbrella chapter for all of our local chapters across the United States. Our events are open to all aspiring government leaders, no matter where you may be located. We host a variety of professional, social and charitable events throughout the year in the National Capital Region. In addition, we sponsor virtual events for all of our members. Membership is free, easy, and open to all. Check our calendar for upcoming events and let us know if you would like to see a specific event in the near future!

Civic engagement and government service are ideologically linked, and YGL members contribute to the improvement of their communities in several ways—at the office and outside of it. The goal of this survey is to ascertain what motivates giving, and how YGL’s members prefer to give to their community.
This survey should take less than 5 minutes. Your contribution is very valuable and will provide powerful insight into the choices young government employees make when serving their communities. Please note that all responses are confidential and we do not tie individual responses to personal information.
